The EU Youth Strategy is the framework for youth policies in Europe for 2019 – 2027. It is aimed to increase youth participation and cooperation, foster democratric principles, and support social engagement. Under this framework, 11 European Youth Goals were developed with three core areas of action: engage, connect, empower. By identifying cross sectorial areas that involve youth, the EU Youth Strategy and the European Youth Goals contribute to the achievement young people’s vision for Europe.

About our speaker: Alicia Holzschuh is a Program Officer in the National Agency, Erasmus+ YOUTH IN ACTION and European Solidarity Corps for Key Action 2 (Strategic Partnerships, Transnational Youth Initiatives) and Key Action 3 (EU Youth Dialogue Projects). She is also a contact person for two projects of the network of national agencies “Youth Work Against Violent Radicalisation and Extremism” and “European Academy on Youth Work”.
