Czech Republic EIB Internship, the European Union’s bank, is seeking for its Secretariat General (SG) – Group Strategy Department (GS) – Institutional Representation Division (IRD) at the EIB Group Office in Prague: TRAINEE
Duration: 5 months (fixed start date: 01st September / October 2022)

Objective of the traineeship
Under the responsibility of the Head of EIB Group Office in Prague, you will mainly contribute to a data collection on EIB Group activity in Czech Republic. Additionally, you will participate in the organization of events and contributing to making the EIB better known across the Czech Republic and the EU.
Responsibilities
Your main tasks will be to:
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the EIB Group activity (EIB, EIB Global, European Investment Fund (EIF), Advisory Services and EIB Institute) and collect information in an efficient manner to enhance capacity to inform and communicate;
- With the support of the Media Officer, the Head of EIB Group Office in Prague, you will work on a communication campaign towards national authorities by providing key information, including the Newsletter. The themes to be adapted to the priorities of the Czech EU Presidency as well as national/international context in the second half of 2022;
- Keep track of the news related to the EIB Group and EU affairs in Czech Republic.
Academic qualifications and professional skills
- Final year of studies or University degree in the area of Banking, Finance, international relations/EU affairs;
- Competence skills in communication, finance, international relations and political science would be a strong asset;
- Good knowledge of standard Microsoft Office tools (in particular Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. Knowledge of any other EU language mainly Czech would be an advantage.
