Germany Berlin ESC European Solidarity Corps Join our team in the very heart of Berlin and become an international youth leader in the naturefriends movement! Get to know the diversity of the naturefriends movement in depth. 1.Support international projects You will support our daily work in the office by supporting our project managers in the implementation of the (international) projects. At the moment we have international projects in Germany and together with our international partners in the Netherlands, Austria, Italy, Senegal and Benin. During the support you will be able to gain knowledge about project management from the application until the implementation of a project on national and international level and work with young activists. 2. Get to know daily office work Supporting the daily task of an office life will be one of your tasks as well to get to know a holistic picture about how an office works from PR over team work to understanding the work of an NGO and different funding schemes. ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS

During your volunteering experience with us, you will be supported and supervised by an experienced full-time employee. The team of the German Young Naturefriends will take care of the Accommodation and will give you pocket money as well as money for food. In addition to that you will get support in finding the best possible way to come to Berlin and will get a yearly transportation pass for Berlin so that you can discover your temporary home. We also support you in finding a language course and learning German. The insurance will be covered as well so you don’t have to care about it.

TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY

During your year in Berlin you will expand your knowledge of international youth work and the European Solidarity Corps. You will help us to attract young participants to our international activities and help them to become active within the framework of the European Solidarity Corps. Through your work the exchange between committed young people from different countries within the network of the International Young Naturefriends will be intensified.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

You are interested in youth work and international cooperation. You are interested in supporting our international cooperation with a team of full-time and volunteer workers. You like team work, intercultural exchange and climate policy engagement. German is the working language in our office and on our youth events. So you should be ready to communicate with the team, our regional offices and with young people. As we also cooperate with french speaking countries we would be very happy if you speak some French as well.
