Spain European Solidarity Corps ESC The volunteers will involve in the activities of our organisation mainly based on Art and languages, although, they will have a place to practice their own skills concerning to the program that we will develop jointly with the volunteer and Edificio Joven ( Youth Branch ) of Alcala Municipality. Weekly activities of the volunteer : -Help social media work of the youth projects of Verdesur -Take role in implementing English speaking clubs or any other language requested by local community/youth -Implement workshops with the involvement of young people in Alcala la Real -Participate and assist in international youth exchanges/training courses/meetings of Verdesur taking place in Alcala la Real -Help the local youth about their activities taking place in Edificio Joven -Provide new activities according to the skill-set of the volunteer in Edificio Joven -Publish online articles about the experiences during volunteering -Administrative work

ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS

The volunteers will stay in single/double rooms and will live with 3-4 different volunteers from different countries. There is bathroom, kitchen, kitchen utilities(pots, plates and etc.), living room, washing machine, hot water and heating ( raditors ). You will have unlimited internet connection with Wi-Fi in the house. The volunteers will receive 150 EUR food their food expenses per month. As the city is a small town and it is easy to reach everywhere by walk, there will be no transportation arrangement. Travel costs of the volunteers will be provided according to the program rules.

TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY

The participants will receive on-arrival training if it is organized by Spanish National Agency during their stay and we will provide language courses and the participants will directly involve in the training and workshops provided by our organisation. PARTICIPANT PROFILE

We are looking participants who are eager to develop and engage new international projects as well as interested in art, theatre and working with young people. We do not require any special skills though, we expect the volunteer to be eager to work with young people and adults. For the long-term volunteers, Adequate English knowledge is a plus and knowing Spanish is preferred. This position is only open to people from the listed countries. If you are not from the country listed, please do not apply.
